Some players have experienced the inability to activate any kind of dialogue with Ada rendering the quest unable to complete. PC Playstation 4 Xbox One After killing all the robots, you are prompted to speak with Ada.While the caravan will not spawn, all you miss is some loot from the area and nothing of notable value. This will spawn Ada, complete the robot elimination step and then allow you to talk to Ada, who then proceed as if the quest had been done normally, allowing you to continue the DLC. Exit the console, wait for Ada to appear. PC This can be worked around by the following go to where Caravan should be, type prid 0100ff12 then enable. If you delete your saves so you don't have any outside of Cambridge you can uninstall Automatron, make a save outside of Cambridge, then install Automatron again.A possible solution is to load an older save outside of the Cambridge area before starting the quest.Walking to the quest marker will remove the caravan distress call, and complete the objective, but no hostile robots will spawn leaving Automatron unplayable. PC Playstation 4 Xbox One After reaching Wattz Consumer Electronics, and following the quest marker, you won't find any caravan or Ada.PC The next stage of the quest can be activated with the console command setstage DLC01MQ01 2200.This is likely caused either by the loading of an environment in general, or by exiting the game before listening to the broadcast it is not caused by fast travel, as this bug can even occur in survival mode, where fast travel is disabled. It will still be possible to travel to the caravan's location and engage in the battle. PC Playstation 4 Xbox One If the distress call is not listened to immediately after the quest spawns, that station may fail to play, preventing the quest from moving to the next step and the quest marker at Wattz Consumer Electronics from spawning.Throwing a grenade at her seems to fix this. For PC open the console select Ada and disable her, then enable her and she will behave properly.PC Xbox One After eliminating the robots, Ada may be sporadically and quickly moving around in all directions, making it impossible for the Sole Survivor to interact with her.I was certain to meet my end here as well. ↑ Ada: "Jackson, someone has answered your distress call.↑ Ada: "We'd never been to this particular factory before, but once Jackson spotted the Mechanist robots, he turned us around immediately.".Jackson always made it a point to avoid them when possible." ↑ Ada: "The Brotherhood collects technology.Sole Survivor: "Your personality defines you as an individual. I suppose I'm starting to think he was wrong." So he permanently set my personality mode to 'on.' He said I should never lose my identity. Jackson said he didn't think of me as a servitor robot. Turn it off, and we're no better than a mindless automaton. Turn it on, and we're designed to talk and act more like a human. ↑ Sole Survivor: "Your personality mode? What do you mean?"Īda: "Most robots have a personality mode select available to them for their creator to utilize. If only we had made the decision to leave." We knew we ran the risk of encountering more of these hostile robots if we stayed in the Commonwealth. Our built in modifications would be desired pieces of salvage. Besides myself, Jackson also created Turing, Hurtz, and Porter. ↑ Sole Survivor: "They must be targeting you for some reason."Īda: "Probability is high that I am part of that reason. The Commonwealth has an abundance of salvage that would benefit our business. ↑ Sole Survivor: "So why did you end up staying?"Īda: "Our caravan specialized in mechanical repairs and trade. Unfortunately, they were not enough to protect them from the robots." Interactions overview InteractionsĪda: "Jackson was the leader of this caravan. However, he died like much of the rest of his caravan, with Ada being the only survivor. When the caravan's campsite, east of Wattz Consumer Electronics, was attacked by yet another squad of the Mechanist's robots, Jackson sent out an emergency signal and ordered Ada to loop it. He also decided to not approach the General Atomics factory after he spotted the Mechanist's robots there, as the caravan previously had a hostile run-in with another group of them. Jackson was a cautious man, and knowing about the Broterhood of Steel's desire for technology, he avoided them whenever possible. He considered Ada to be a friend rather than a servant, which is why he enabled the unit's personality mode. The group was also accompanied by several robots: Ada, Hurtz, Porter and Turing - all of which were created by Jackson. Jackson had a technological affinity and was the leader of a caravan, which was specialized in mechanical repairs, and that consisted of Liza, Shades, and Zoe.
